Merry Christmas to everyone!
I have been writing this blog and then I sort of stopped but it’s because I’ve gone through some major life changes and for the better I promise you.
I have been dating my boyfriend for 6 months now and he is so great! I have just been hired by a company in London as a Junior Graphic Designer and I am so happy to be walking into 2018 with a fresh start and in the best way. The only downside is I don’t know when I will be visiting Canada again as I really miss my family and my closest friends.
I’m not home for christmas this year because it was hard getting time off work as the company I work for is open 98% of the year and because flights are expensive. I will be planning to fly home with my boyfriend for mid 2018 most likely and then planning to fly home again at Christmas this time next year.
I have also been trying to sort out my struggle with adult acne and have tried numerous solutions and am seeing a dermatologist. I have just started taking Spironolactone as my final attempt to treat my acne before my dermatologist puts me on Isotretinoin (otherwise known as Accutane or Roaccutane). I must see a psychiatrist who will need to sign off on a course of accutane treatment as I have Bipolar Affective Disorder and Accutane has a side effect of causing people taking it to feeling suicidal. I am committed to finally getting rid of my acne and will go quite far to do so. Fingers crossed that something will work and my acne will go away finally after struggling for the last 8 years or so.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas with your families and friends and I will spend mine at home with my lovely boyfriend cooking and eating, as that is the best way to spend the holidays, with the people you love and care about with lots of food and usually lots of alcohol and chocolate!
